Melbourne Mothers Day High Tea

May 2, 2021

Coinciding with our Draw Her Wings awareness campaign, we brought together over 160 women at our 2021 high tea.

We hosted our 2021 event at Crown Melbourne, with over 160 attendees joining us at the three-hour event. To help encourage meaningful conversations, we grouped our guests on tables according to their age when they lost their mum. This helped build the sense of shared experience for our community.

Our esteemed guest panelists Allira Potter, Dr Katie Allen MP and Alicia Gardiner discussed coping techniques, their own experiences of grief, how to honour mum and carry grief through life's journey. This was a truly wonderful event which we hope to bring to our community again in the near future.
